This Brooklyn dude’s Khmer cover of ‘Controlla’ is everything

All you'll be able to make out is “Jodeci” and it sounds wonderful.

Get it. (via Youtube)

We’re loving on this Khmer cover of Drake’s “Controlla” from Hella Chluy aka Phanit Duong, a viral video star from Brooklyn. (Khmer is the official language of Cambodia.)
It takes place in a part of Philadelphia informally known as Cambodia Town, and Duong told Philly news site Billy Penn that the video was part of an effort to rename the neighborhood officially. It’s one thing the borough doesn’t have, Duong regretfully told Billy Penn.
“I would kill for a Cambodia Town in Brooklyn or somewhere, you know?” he said.
