Back in May, we reported that General Assembly, the New York City-based coworking and entrepreneur education outfit that offers programming all over the country, would be launching classes and workshops in Philly.

GA just announced that Venturef0rth will be its Philly homebase, with events starting at the end of the month.

GA has already hired one staffer to work out of Venturef0rth who will coordinate events, says Venturef0rth co-founder Jesse Kramer.

Kramer and fellow co-founder Elliot Menschik are ecstatic about the prospect of working with GA.

On the subject of GA coming to Philly, Menschik said in a statement to Technically Philly: “The winner? Philadelphia’s tech community. The loser?  The Bolt Bus. One more reason to grow your company here.”

Last May, GA held its first workshop in Philly at the University City Science Center.
