To date, QED has committed $2.4 million in awards since 2009 to a total of 12 projects that have leveraged the Science Center support into nearly $9 million in private follow-on technology investments. The press release did not name any investors, but only said that “the new capital included funding from five funds, including one new fund, and angels” and that more than 90% of previous investors participated.”
