Gosh, it was easy to get caught up with this weekend’s summer vibe. We BBQ’d, partied on a boat and danced the night away. And we still had time to dig the Broad Street Run.
But for all the fun, we just couldn’t stop thinking about the events on our calendar this week. They’re light, but that’s why we like ’em. Kick it this week with some classic local technology groups and let’s make it through May gently, mmmkay? Net Tuesday celebrates its two-year anniversary, PhillyCHI lets loose with tech quizzo and the hard-workers at UArts show off their semester’s work in Fishtown. Kick it.
All events listed on the event calendar are free to attend. Be sure to check our complete calendar for more.
Monday, May 4th: University of Arts students are still showing off their semester’s work at the Crane Arts building in Fishtown, and we couldn’t be more proud. The crossover between design and tech is ever-present and important. Let’s keep that conversation alive. 12:00 p.m. Fishtown. DETAILS. [view more events]
Tuesday, May 4th: NetSquared Net Tuesday celebrates its second anniversary with a comprehensive look at how social Web technologies can help nonprofits or causes. C’mon guys, don’t pull the wool here—this is just an excuse to party. And we’re OK with that. 6:30 p.m. Center City. DETAILS. [view more events]
Thursday, May 6th: PhillyCHI hosts its Technology Quizzo night, a fun and welcomed addition to our region’s tech social calendar. Join the group for beers and trivia about design and tech. We’d be there, but we’re still trying to assemble a unstoppable team of tech all-stars. 8 p.m. Old City. DETAILS. [view more events]
