According to our events calendar, we have two weekend hackathons on tap. This week: game jamming, Javascripting and starting up.
Startup WeekendAs we wrote about last month, Startup Weekend is an weekend-long event, challenging attendees to create a startup in just two days of hacking. On Sunday, groups will present their products and hope someone becomes the next Quora. Center City. All Weekend. INFO.
PhillyJS – Turns out that this Javascript thing may be worth a meetup in Philadelphia after all. Join PhillyJS for its first ever meetup to say you were there. Oh, and if you want to go to chat about frontend programming languages you can do that too. Old City. Wed. 6 p.m. INFO.
Global Game Jam – Philadelphia will be participating in the Global Game Jam, a weekend-long event challenging attendees to create a game in a weekend of hacking. Yes, it’s very much like Startup Weekend. And no, we’re not ashamed to use the same description. Old City. All Weekend. INFO.
