Emerging Technology for the Enterprise – We have good news and bad news, Philadelphia. Good news: the Mid-Atlantic’s premier developer conference is in its 7th edition and features an impressive speaker line up that includes both local and national voices. Bad news: It’s sold out, but you can add yourself to the wait list. Tuesday-Wednesday. All Day. Old CityINFO.

Philly.rb: Philly ETE Meeting – Piggybacking on ETE, Philly.rb will be holding a meetup featuring Trotter Cashion, David Bock and Arild Shirazi speaking on Cloud Foundry and a point counter-point on Ruby metaprogramming. Wednesday. 6:30 p.m. Old City. RSVP.

7th Annual Social Entrepreneurship Conference – Though specifically minded toward sustainability, this annual event is part of an impressive regional infrastructure around social entrepreneurship. Keynote speaker Stephen Gardner, Vice President for Northeast Corridor Infrastructure and Investment Development for Amtrak will join a panel and and break-out sessions to discuss socially-minded businesses at Temple. This year’s theme: “From Point A to Point Green: Reducing Cost & Carbon Through Transport.” Monday. 8:30 a.m. North Philly. RSVP.
