Learn how to protect your digital security: CryptoParty is back in Brooklyn

Secure communication in the 21st century does exist. The July 22 CryptoParty serves as a reminder of that.

Our favorite party for learning about online security and cryptography, CryptoParty NYC, will come back to Brooklyn this month.
CryptoParty is a fun, open-to-the-public workshop run by people eager to spread the gospel of Tor with their fellow citizens.
“We want to bring more people into confidently being able to use technology without being used by it,” organizer David Huerta explained at a previous CryptoParty.
Recently the organization held a workshop at the Whitney during the run of Laura Poitras’s show there this spring.
July’s CryptoParty will be held at NYC Resistor, a community hackerspace in Downtown Brooklyn, on July 22 at 7 p.m.
