ClassPass raised its unlimited monthly membership to $200 and suffice it to say, it is not going over well.
One Brooklynite even started a (joke) GoFundMe campaign:
“As a 22 year old living in NYC, it is not financially feasible for me to continue using ClassPass,” Carly Schnitzer wrote in her solicitation, which has somehow raised $135.
ClassPass is sort of like the Croissant for spin classes. For $99 a month $200 a month you can take classes at any participating gym you like, rather than be shackled to just one gym. The company built a huge user base in New York, expanded to other cities, raised $84 million at a $400 valuation, and has now raised its prices. Users aren’t thrilled.
Ya girl Celeste is over it:

And the ClassPass queen bee herself:
ClassPass roped us in at $99/month, now wants to charge $190/month FOR THE EXACT SAME SERVICE https://t.co/QytMNdTzYs
