Just in time for the launch of the city’s new zoning code, the City Planning Commission debuted a new website, PlanPhilly’s Eyes on the Street reports.
New website? New blog? New zoning code? The Planning Commission has had a healthy dose of transparency-focused announcements in recent weeks.
Visit the new Planning Commission website here.
It’s easy to say the new site is much more user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing (Eyes on the Street has a screenshot of the old version here), and its upgrade means more interactive data on the city’s new map portal.
There’s a map where you can check which community organization has been designated for your neighborhood, as well as the zoning designations for the different parts of the city. The map portal also houses interactive maps featuring data from the city’s Department of Licenses and Inspections, which launched a new website earlier this month.
