Most of us have an embarrassing business story of having to make a pitch, lead a conference call or give a slide presentation under pressure and having the audio visual technology fail on them.

Instead of ransacking the building for elusive IT personnel, Cenero, a Malvern-based AV services provider, has launched a new service that remotely monitors AV equipment called Constant Connect 2.0.

Cenero, which counts the Wharton Business School as a client, boasts that Constant Connect 2.0 is the first managed service provider for AV conferencing systems, according to the press release.

They promise the service provides closed loop testing, video connection to US-based support, and advanced system analytics.

From the press release:

  • Conduct proactive closed loop tests to turn on and exercise devices and review quality metrics to ensure 100% uptime.
  • Connect via video with service engineers for reactive support at the touch of a button.
  • Access reports through a web portal providing detailed analytical information on system performance, usage analysis and asset management.

For tech firms and other businesses that rely on finicky conferencing systems to do important work, this service might be worth checking out.
