Manhattan research firm gives Brooklyn some love

CB Insights has the latest stats on startup funding in your favorite borough.

There’s been plenty of buzz about Brooklyn becoming more and more a startup center, and recently Manhattan-based research and analysis firm CB Insights highlighted 19 reasons why Kings County is the place to be for tech.
One interesting figure was this: “the borough has attracted some $890M in startup funding over the last six years.”
Not bad!

CB also gives a shoutout to hometown hero Charlie O’Donnell, of Brooklyn Bridge Ventures: “How many more VC name plaques on town homes will it take to create Brooklyn’s own version of Sandhill Road in Silicon Valley? Gowanus Row?”
