Local teen Ashvika Dhir noticed that many of the 4,000 students at her high school wanted to volunteer but they didn’t know the range of different social causes and charities that existed. So she created CauseHub, a site that lets young adults blog about different social causes.

One year later, the site is run by a team of nine students from all around the world — students Dhir met at leadership conferences — and has about 30 posts on topics like social entrepreneurship, Hurricane Sandy relief and children’s rights. 10 NGOs have also opened blogs on CauseHub, including Shraddha Charitable Trust and Tree Hugging with Kids.

Visit the site here.

Dhir, 16, is a junior at Pennsbury High School and lives in Yardley, Pa. She said the main goal of the site is to “create a community of socially motivated and responsible teenagers and young adults.”
