New technology sometimes explodes and sometimes totally doesn’t and it’s not usually clear which will happen. Three experts in the industry will discuss what they see happening in the virtual reality field this year in a talk next Tuesday at Dumbo’s Digital Future Lab.

“Startup, corporate, and investment professionals will walk away knowing how to better incorporate the tech in their personal businesses and ventures,” according to the event, Focus MX: What AR/VR Trends Can You Expect in 2017?

Speaking will be Shawn Cheng, a principal at Vayner RSEJustin Hendrix, the executive director at the NYC Media Lab and Sophie Kleber, the executive director of product and innovation at Huge.
