ApprenNet, the online law education startup based at Drexel University, opened registration for its massive open online law course (MOOC) on mergers and acquisitions last week, and more than 200 students have already registered, says vice president of curriculum Emily Foote.

About half of the registrants are practicing attorneys and the other half are law students, with some business students thrown in, Foote says.
