Workflow lets you string together multiple actions and apps to create your own app — like a tip calculator app for when you’re splitting the bill with friends.
Think of it as a more versatile IFTTT.
It costs $2.99.
Download for iOSOriginally started as a project at the University of Michigan’s MHacks hackathon, Workflow was built by a team that includes Conrad Kramer and Ari Weinstein, two current Thiel Fellows who grew up in the Philly area (Kramer, 18, is from Cherry Hill, Weinstein is from Mt. Airy). Kramer was on the winning PennApps team in 2013 and was Airbnb’s youngest employee two summers ago.
Workflow is hot right now: the peoples of Product Hunt loved it and so did the App Store.

Said SnipSnap’s Ted Mann on the PSL Listserv: “The app is a brilliant way to create automated workflows between a multitude of native iOS apps. Sort of like IFTTT, only all native and way more elegant. My favorite recipe: ‘Home ETA,‘ which calculates the distance until I’ll arrive home from work and texts that to my wife.”
