Super Meetup DC is back!

Super Meetup, presented this year as part of DC Startup Week, is a networking event (plus happy hour) of the most-connected members of the local technology, startup and entrepreneurial community. It’s a chance to make new friends and learn more about local tech and entrepreneurial resources and tech-focused meetup groups.

If you’re new to D.C. or interested in learning about the local scene, come on down. Super Meetup comes to Mindspace tonight from 6 to 9 p.m.

What to expect at Super Meetup:

  • Meet local tech companies and organizations to find your next opportunity
  • Be a part of DC Startup Week
  • Meet 400 other technologists
  • Connect with at least nine local meetup groups and community leaders
  • Food and drinks provided by Truss (three cheers for free happy hour)
  • Grab tons of free swag, biz cards and good vibes

What are the meetup groups attending?

Without our sponsors, Super Meetup isn’t possible. Stop by these tables and show them some love: Sumner Furniture, Law IQ, Nava, Acquicore, Verizon 5G, Truss and Ordway Labs.

We know that networking can be tough, so we rounded up a few tips and inside information on our event sponsors and meetup groups that you can meet tonight.

Build more efficiency within your organization

Ordway’s team, including CEO and angel investor Sameer Gulati, will be displaying their billing and revenue automation platform which is driving efficiency in companies’ revenue operations, giving organizations time back to attend more meetups.

The team is also looking to hire a few full-stack developers. They play music in the office that ranges from the soothing sounds of 1970s Brazilian Bossanova to 1980s pop to the latest from Masego and FKJ. They regularly stream tennis in one of their conference rooms — it turns out a high percentage of Ordmates like to run around the courts trading top-spin forehands. They also share a catered team lunch on Fridays from one of the District’s most interesting restaurants.

The easiest way to find your next space

Truss is a leading online marketplace to help small- and medium-sized business owners find, tour and lease space. Its tech-enabled platform and people can help you find the right space for the best price in record time.

At Super Meetup, you can learn about their new products, including Truss CRE. Several CRE companies including JLL, CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield have adopted it.
