Ivy City-based food delivery startup Galley is slowly but steadily becoming a major player in on-demand food in the region.
The company, which is all about convenient, nutritious and sustainable food delivery, was founded just over a year ago by two LivingSocial alums. Since launch, Galley has expanded through much of the District, into Bethesda and north to Baltimore. It’s acquired a large kitchen in Ivy City, and, more recently, added in wine delivery with dinner.
NoVa is the newest horizon. Galley will start delivering in northern Virginia — in the Rosslyn-Clarendon corridor — on March 1, with the aim of expanding as demand grows.
