Watch Andrew Stroup’s audition video for “The Big Brain Theory” [VIDEO]

This video earned Stroup one of 10 spots on the new Discovery Channel show.

Andrew Stroup

If you’ve been watching the Discovery Channel every Wednesday night at 10 p.m. the last several weeks, no doubt you’ve spotted Baltimore’s Andrew Stroup, one of 10 contestants on “The Big Brain Theory.”
The 27-year-old Stroup, who lives in Canton, has been competing in a series of engineering challenges. (Which he has been documenting in guest posts on Technically Baltimore.) But to even be chosen for Discovery’s new show, he first had to submit an audition video, which we have below.
In addition to being an engineer with the Department of Defense, Stroup also has a history of ass-kickery: he was a two-time Junior Olympic champion in Taekwondo.
