VoiceVibes has a new partnership with a familiar name in meeting technology.
The Baltimore-based company said it is teaming up with Zoom, which makes audio and video conferencing tech. Through this partnership, VoiceVibes’ speech coaching platform on Zoom’s app marketplace, which provides apps to use with the software.
VoiceVibes’ platform is designed to give feedback on how communication is perceived. As founder Debra Cancro told us earlier this year, the AI-based system measures 20 areas that affect this.
“Studies do show that when you’re making an impression,” she said then, “the vibe that people get from you is more important than the actual words.”
In businesses, this can be applied to give sales representatives a chance to practice presenting. Managers may already be working with employees on this, but the platform can help zero in on particular areas of focus, and provide a time to practice outside of person-to-person coaching sessions.
“We are pleased that Zoom users now have a convenient and objective way to receive speech coaching by leveraging AI. The VoiceVibes coaching platform is a great way for users to practice, empowering them to host webinars and meetings that are as polished-sounding as possible,” said Thiya Ramalingam, head of Platforms for Zoom, in a statement.
