Internet pioneer Vint Cerf to speak in Hunt Valley

The decorated designer now serves as Google's chief internet evangelist.

Vint Cerf, often called one of the ‘fathers of the Internet,’ speaks Sunday in Hunt Valley.
The former DARPA program manager and email forefather turned Google evangelist is a science guest at Balticon, the Baltimore Science Fiction Society’s annual convention at the Hunt Valley Inn.
Cerf will speak at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the Valley Ballroom then hold a more intimate Q&A session about the Internet and his work at Google in Salon A at 1 p.m. Single-day admission to the convention is $39 on Sunday. A weekend pass is $65.
Cerf now serves as vice president and chief Internet evangelist for Google.
