According to the city’s WordPress blog, Philadelphia has been awarded a $25 million grant to retrofit city buildings to be more energy efficient. Two pieces of news here: the grant, and the fact that the city has a WordPress blog.
According to Citybizlist, BioNanomatrix has raised nearly $800,000. The company, based in the University City Science Center, received seed and Series A funding from Ben Franklin Technology Partners.
