Admit it — Bei Bei (bae bae?) is looking pretty cute these days. Remember those first wobbly steps captured on the Panda Cam? Of course you do.
While the Smithsonian Zoo has been doing an excellent job of keeping us all up-to-date via social media, what could be better than seeing the little bundle of joy yourself? Bei Bei’s public debut isn’t until Jan. 16, but you could get a behind-the-scenes sneak peek if you win this Instagram competition.
Here’s how it works: Fill out a registration form and submit an Instavideo (15 second or less) to the @SmithsonianZoo account, and you’re in the running. What should the video be about? “We want to know anything from why you care about pandas to why you think it’s important to study and save them,” organizers declare.
It’s time to get creative, social media stars. Go!
