UrbanStems has a new collab with Bumble for International Women’s Day

The D.C. flower delivery company is working with the social app to offer a new bouquet.

UrbanStems has a new partner in bouquet delivery.

For the month of March, the D.C. flower delivery startup is collaborating with Bumble, the social app offering dating features where women make the first move, as well as friend and job finding capabilities.

Throughout the month, UrbanStems will be offering the Bumble, a bouquet filled with roses in Bumble’s specific shade of yellow. It also comes with an option to upgrade to a kit called The Hive, which includes a vase, pins and a deck of cards with thought-provoking questions.

The offering comes around International Women’s Day, which is March 8. March is also Women’s History Month. With each order, $5 will be donated to Women for Women International, which helps women survivors of war and conflict.

UrbanStems Head of Press & Partnerships for UrbanStems Megan Darmody said 67 percent of its deliveries are from women to other women.

“We hope women use these beautiful bouquets to celebrate each other this month, because they will not only brighten the recipient’s day, but they will also help raise money for women across the globe,” Sarah Sawaf, Strategic Partnerships Manager for Bumble, said in a statement.

It’s the latest collab for UrbanStems, which also teamed with rapper 2Chainz and Vogue editors to design recent floral offerings.
