Uber Ice Cream: order ice cream via smartphone app today

It's $25 for five ice cream treats from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Car-chauffeuring startup Uber is offering Uber Ice Cream today in 33 cities, including Baltimore.
For those with the Uber mobile app: click the ice cream icon in the bottom, right-hand corner to have an ice cream truck sent to your location. In Baltimore, it’s $25 for five ice cream treats from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Download the Uber app for Android or iOS here.
According to Uber spokespeople, “Demand for ice cream trucks will be very high and availability very limited. It may take multiple tries to find an available truck.”
Of course, if you don’t want to wait around for an ice cream truck, you could always take a walk around Artscape, which commences today. (Download the Artscape mobile app here.)
There’s probably ice cream available at one of the Artscape tents. Failing that, there is beer.
