Aligned with International Women’s Day coming up on March 8 and Technical.ly‘s March editorial focus on Women in Tech, The Women in Tech Summit‘s Mid Atlantic Conference is taking place in Washington, D.C., March 28-29.

The two-day conference include speakers, panels and hands-on workshops on a variety of tech and career related topics. This year’s keynote speakers include Genia Wilbourn from Verizon, Joan Myers from Strategic Link Partners and Allison Ritter from IBM Security.

The conference cost $199 for regular attendees and $89 for students.

Can The Future Still Be Female?

FINCA Impact Finance will be hosting its fourth annual International Women’s Day event. Research shows that fintech is most effective at narrowing the gender gap in markets where women already play active roles in managing household finances. The panel discussion will discuss this theme and explore how women can continue to be empowered in finance, technology, and other male-dominated industries.
