Facing the reality of looming adulthood is pretty terrifying. Hell, it’s even terrifying for people already well into adulthood sometimes.
There’s no instruction manual for adulthood, but there is “Adulting 101,” a TEDxWilmington Salon event sponsored by Accelerate Delaware on Sept. 19.

This TEDxWilmington Salon will feature talks that address finding your purpose; aligning your passion and purpose to a career; navigating personal finances including student loans; funding your entrepreneurial vision, and bridging generational gaps in the workplace.
Speakers include millennial leaders who specialize in helping today’s biggest generation of workers (millennials) become the greatest generation of leaders, career maturation for emerging leaders, and a renowned plastic surgeon who helps women embrace and preserve the pretty within themselves.

Adulting 101 will be held in The Mill Auditorium (also known as Theatre N) from 5–9 p.m., including registration and networking pre-salon mixer, the 90-minute salon and more post-salon networking.
Tickets are $22 but $17 for students. Or maybe the student rate is just a trick to out you as the child you are. 🤔🤔🤔
