For those of you buzzing about the Internet of Things, the Philly chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications is hosting a day a conferences that you may want to check out.
“Tech It Out,” happening June 6 at Villanova University, will feature presentations and demos on IoT, breakout sessions and a demo of Nova’s flashy new VR Cave. Here’s a sneak peek:
The lineup of speakers features Comcast Chief Product Officer Chris Satchel, Stratis CEO Felicite Moorman and PricewaterhouseCoopers Manager of Cybersecurity Suktika Mukhopadhyay.
Get tickets ($25-$150)According to organizer and Comcast engineer Mary Malone, proceeds from the event help members “develop and hone their skills while having the opportunity to network and connect with industry peers.”
Malone mentioned that the group also encourages participation from local high schoolers, college students and interns interested in STEM.
