Patents can be tricky business.
Well, virtually all legal aspects of entrepreneurship’s can get real dicey, real quick when not handled properly from day one. For Philly entrepreneurs with questions about intellectual property, registering a business and how to do it, there’s an event for that.
This Thursday at NextFab’s Washington Avenue spot, attorneys Ku Yoo, from Chang & Yoo LLP, and Vadim Chersakov, from McCarter & English LLP, will take the mic to talk LLCs, trademarks and patents.
RSVPThe talk, a similar version of which also happened at MakeOffices last June, is part of a not-so-recent uptick in free legal resources available in Philly for entrepreneurs. Drexel University has a popular entrepreneur law clinic, as does Penn. Ballard Spahr has a startup incubator, as does Saul Ewing.
Here’s one more resource for those looking: our roundup of 14 Philly lawyers in the vein of startup don himself, Steve Goodman.
