WHO’S GETTING FUNDED?
Frogtek, a Mexico City company with ties to Rittenhouse Square, raised $400,000, according to an SEC filing. The company, which offers mobile business tools for micro-entrepeneurs, or people who monetize their assets by say, renting their apartments on AirBnB, has its SEC filing address in Philadelphia, but its team appears to live in Mexico.
WHO’S MAKING MOVES?
Monetate, the Conshohocken ecommerce optimization company, hired former Salesforce mid-Atantic vice president Chris Lehman to lead sales, according to a release (The well known Science Leadership Academy principal with the similar name has two ‘n’ in his last name). The company also announced a partnership with SAP company hybris software. The partnership will give Monetate access to hybris’s 400 customers.
Firefly, the University City cobrowsing startup, is working with Consohocken’s eMoney Advisor, according to a release. eMoney Advisor, which offers software for financial advisors, will offer Firefly’s software to its financial advisor customers.
Artisan, the Old City mobile app optimization startup, released new features that let people with no technology background test, analyze and publish changes to mobile apps, according to a release.
Check out this app called Shared that lets you have a private social network with one other person. It was developed by West Chester, Pa. native Brian Bernberg who now lives in Montclair, N.J.
