The mobile couponing startup left Venturef0rth — its incubator headquarters of two years — late last month and moved into a 2,100 square foot space on the third floor of the Stetson Building at 12th and Sansom, neighboring trendy restaurants like Barbuzzo and Jamonera.

It’s all decked out in SnipSnap green and bathed in light, thanks to a skylight and a dramatic floor-to-ceiling window in the main office. It even has a little courtyard and two bathrooms (a luxury in smaller startup offices).

SnipSnap was ready for its own space, said founder Ted Mann, adding that the new spot has already done a lot for “team unity.” The startup now employs nine, a number that includes part-time contractors.

The building is owned by Goldman Properties, who also owns the Philadelphia Building. Like the Philadelphia Building, the 13th Street Stetson Building houses a number of tech companies: SnipSnap, Uber, SEO firm Elite SEM and creative agency The Tactile Group. Creative agency Happy Cog used to be headquartered there, too.

The office search, which was led by director of operations Nicole Harris, took about six months, Mann said. Realtor Dan Gummel helped find SnipSnap find the space, like he has with several other local startups.

It’s not clear how long SnipSnap will stay here: the company is in the midst of raising a $3 million to $5 million round, in part to staff up. But that’s one reason Mann chose the spot. Goldman Properties offers flexible lease terms and an opportunity to move into a different Goldman property if you outgrow your current one, Mann said.
