Last week we reported that Snipi, the Evernote-like application that allows users to share links over social media received $2.5 million in funding. Turns out that the company has since rebranded and shifted focus. Now known as Sidecar, the company holds to provide data to drive marketing decisions on the web. We’ll have more about Sidebar later this week.
First Round Capital has teamed up with Google Ventures to invest $2.1 million in CustomMade. The Cambridge-based company connects “skilled artisans” with shoppers looking for custom work. First Round had been partnering with Google Ventures quite a bit lately.

Comcast Ventures has invested $6.1 million in Catalog Spree, the Palo Alto-based company makes catalog applications for the iPad.
First Round Capital remained busy last week, co-investing in HotelTonight a last-miunte deals site for hotels. The firm also invests in local startup Packlate, which performs a similar service for private rentals.

First Round Capital portfolio company Unsubscribe.com was acquired by TrustedID. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Safeguard Scientifics co-led a $7M Series A financing in Medivo, a NY-based healthcare IT company.
eZuza, the West Philly-based mobile payment platform with a focus on Spanish speaking users has raised $115,000 according to SEC filings.
