The University City Science Center is looking to add some names to its Innovators Walk of Fame.

This year, the organization is reaching out to the public for suggestions of outstanding immigrant entrepreneurs, in a salute to their contribution to society. Nominate your favorite immigrant technologist or founder by May 19. Submissions will then be reviewed by a group of entrepreneurs, investors and members of this media (full disclosure: this reporter is part of that committee.)

“This talented and motivated group is creating technologies and products that are transforming our world – and our economy,” said in a statement Stephen Tang, Science Center President and CEO “When immigration and entrepreneurship intersect, magic can – and often does – happen. The Innovators Walk of Fame will recognize these brilliant people, their bright ideas, the companies they form and the jobs they create.”
