Major job cuts hit SevOne

It was only last year that SevOne announced the addition of about 200 jobs in Delaware. Back in March of this year, the company had its first round of Delaware layoffs but it did not release many details about the 10 percent of its workforce it said was affected.
SevOne seemed to move past the layoffs and onto product development, but the company started a second round of layoffs yesterday. Officials would not comment on this week’s cuts, which were first reported by the News Journal.
“Former employees estimated as much as a third to 40 percent of SevOne’s global workforce got the ax Monday,” the News Journal reported.
