Northern Liberties online marketing agency SEER Interactive just keeps growing.

This summer, it opened another office in Northern Liberties to accomodate staff growth and this May, it’s looking west. SEER Interactive will open a San Diego office to “tap West Coast talent” and to be closer to its clients that span the country, said spokeswoman Stephanie Beadell.

“One of the main reasons we decided to launch the San Diego office is that great people wanted to work with us, but they couldn’t make it to Philly,” Beadell said. “We decided to come to them.”

Four SEER employees will move to the San Diego office initially, and CEO Wil Reynolds will be in San Diego for three months to oversee the launch, Beadell said. The new office will focus on SEO at first but Beadell said it has plans to expand to pay-per-click and analytics by 2014.

And why San Diego? Practicality, Beadell said. The company narrowed it down by looking at factors like airport locations and which cities had direct flights to Philly with wifi.

SEER currently has 58 full-time employees, Beadell said, up from nearly 50 this past August.

Updated 11:17 a.m. 2/6/13 to reflect that SEER is no longer an SEO shop but an online marketing agency that does more than SEO.
