Six months after its launch, Scholly, an app to find scholarships, has been downloaded more than 40,000 times, cofounder Christopher Gray told the Daily News.

The Scholly team, composed of Drexel student and Dorm Room Fund investor Gray, Nick Pirollo and Bryson Alef, has been a local and national media darling, with mentions in outlets like Philadelphia Magazine, USA Today and TechCrunch. The $0.99 app has, citing challenging math, garnered $40,000 in revenue so far, Gray said.
