While there are no immediate plans to demolish the building at 8th and Race once police administration is moved to West Philly, PlanPhilly reported that the building’s future doesn’t look too hopeful.

Enter the “Save the Roundhouse” Facebook group. With its nearly 200 followers, its postings of old photos of the landmark and its recent media attention, the group has been raising awareness for a building that might have otherwise been forgotten until it appeared on the chopping block.
