Eighteen months after moving into a new office, RJMetrics needed more space.
The business analytics company, which launched a new product last month, outgrew its nearly 13,000-square-foot office in the Widener Building at 13th and Chestnut and expanded to another floor for its sales and marketing teams.
The marketing team moved into the new space Monday, and the sales team is to follow, said spokesman Tristan Handy. It’s more than 8,000 square feet and on the fourth floor of the building (RJ’s other office is on the 15th floor). Before the move, as a stop-gap measure, the marketing team had been working on the long-vacant ninth floor, which Handy said used to be Rick Santorum’s office when he was a senator.
Though the space is still a work in progress (we noted lots of IKEA), it’s already been painted RJ colors: orange and blue. It’s a mix of open space, conference room and private offices, most of whose windows look out over City Hall.
RJMetrics now employs 130, up from nearly 80 last fall. There’ll be about 45 on the fourth floor, Handy said.
Handy was nice enough to let us visit the space and snap photos Monday even though they had just moved in. He said the marketing team was enjoying the quiet before the entire sales team descended on the space. Check it out below.
