who’s getting funded?

Red Owl Analytics, based out of Betamore in Federal Hill, has raised $2.75 million in debt, according to SEC filings. The startup works in behavioral intelligence analytics.
Alchemy, based in Hampden, has raised $277,500 in convertible notes and warrant coverage, according to SEC filings. The edtech startup creates a digital lesson binder for teachers interested in offering their lessons online for students.
Curiosityville, based in Cockeysville, has raised $380,000 in debt, according to SEC filings. The edtech startup offers a subscription-based online education platform for kids between the ages of 3 and 8.
KoolSpan, based in Bethesda, has raised $7.4 million in equity and $2 million in debt, according to respective SEC filings. The mobile security startup creates, among other products, the TrustChip, hardware that provides voice encryption for iPhone users.
