Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake was on hand Monday for a ribbon-cutting at Zipcar‘s new Harbor East office.
As Technical.ly Baltimore reported, the car rental service moved its Baltimore office from Mount Vernon to 700 S. Caroline St. earlier this year. Rawlings-Blake was joined by Zipcar President Kaye Ceille and city officials at the event.
In a release, officials pointed to the positive impact Zipcar has had on the city’s transportation infrastructure, according to a recent transportation survey conducted by the company.
Zipcar launched its service in Baltimore in 2010.
