Squareknot cofounder Jason Rappaport attended the annual Post-Seed Conference in San Francisco on Dec. 1, an event hosted by venture firm Bullpen Capital and its general partner Paul MartinoMartino splits his time between Menlo Park, Calif. and his home in Doylestown and has long been focused on the the funding gap between the seed round and the Series A (hence the conference name).
“This is a Philly in-your-face, no-bullshit conference,” Martino said before the audience of the event, which featured a lineup of speakers from Twilio, Sequoia Capital and  the Wall Street Journal.

(Though Martino isn’t an investor in Squareknot, he’s an advisor to the company.)
As part of the conference, Martino also sat down with angel investor Dan Scheinman for a 45-minute chat on entrepreneurship, seed capital and baseball.
