On the Market is a Technical.ly column where we highlight noteworthy job openings and the people who are lookin’. Got a submission? Email us and tell us why it belongs in the roundup.

Chicago-based kCura builds software that enables customers (law firms, government agencies and the like) to “organize data, discover the truth, and act on it.” The software is called Relativity. The company has a development office in Reston, Va., and is gearing up to hire a bunch over the next year.

What’s great about working for kCura? Beyond a fun office culture and other perks, “the company places a huge emphasis on employee development,” Matt Garvey, director of talent acquisition at kCura, told Technical.ly. “Every employee receives a generous annual training stipend to learn new skills. The stipend can be applied to things like classes, conferences, or association memberships.”

Sound like the kind of professional environment you’d like to be a part of? Oversee your own team as the manager of software engineering, or bring your passion for problem solving to their Conceptual Analytics team as a software engineer.

On the biz-dev side of tech and interested in helping grow and support the careers of emerging technologists? Great news — General Assembly in D.C. is hiring a partnerships specialist.

One key element of the job? Helping to “systematically expanding our network of employers who are interested in hiring GA grads.”

Inspired by Cloudistics CEO Najaf Husain and his philosophies on the similarity between running a company and driving a race car? We know we were. The on-premise cloud computing software company is hiring at a good clip — open opportunities include devops engineer and technical marketing manager.

Distil Networks, which works to protect some major websites from bots, is growing its Arlington, Va. office. The new IT engineer will be the companies “go-to Internal Tech Support for our ~170 employees and 5 global offices.” Talk about responsibility.
