Learn to unite nonprofits and businesses at this Oct. 15 panel

Network with likeminded local folks and hear how to make organizational partnerships work for you, thanks to the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce.

Businesses and nonprofits can make great, symbiotic teams, from big biz partnerships with community organizations to projects like the Spaceboy Clothing/Downtown Visions Humble Park Project to Dual School partnering with local businesses. These partnerships demonstrate commitment to community and can help strengthen teams — and they’ve been shown to help boost a business’s bottom line, too.

Not sure where to start making connections across the nonprofit/business aisle? The New Castle County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a networking event and panel called “Making an Impact: Connecting Non-Profits and Businesses” on Tuesday, Oct. 15, from  5 to 7 p.m. at the Chamber offices at 920 Justison St. in Wilmington.

The one-hour panel discussion will feature:

  • Stuart Comstock Gay, Delaware Community Foundation
  • Rick Deadwyler, Corteva
  • Michelle Taylor, United Way
