Starting an online business may seem simple enough, but as anyone who’s done it successfully will tell you, it’s a challenge that requires planning, strategy and a lot of smart marketing.
“Digital Compass: Start an Online Business” is a free, four-hour bootcamp-style seminar from the Small Business Development Center Delaware (SBDC), featuring speakers including Denita Thomas, Ryan Rodalunas and Brooke Miles, covering online business topics such as:

  • Formulating a business strategy to increase your lines of business and assessing the feasibility of your concept
  • Developing an e-Commerce strategy and choosing the right vendors or website builder tools
  • Marketing your site through digital marketing and social media campaigns to increase customer engagement

The bootcamp will start bright and early on Monday, Dec. 11 (breakfast will be served) at the Emerging Enterprise Center, 920 Justison Street in Wilmington, and will wrap up at noon.
Seating is limited. Register here.
