The inaugural Fintech Cafe meetup was held Feb. 6 at 1313 Innovation in Wilmington.
Two banking leaders, Steven Aller of AIG and Safwan Zaheer of Barclays, started the group to help push forward the slow-to-change field of banking and insurance.
Bob Savino, CTO of Moven, a Philadelphia-based mobile banking service that helps users spend smarter, spoke to the crowd of 30. In 1999, Savino worked for Wingspan Bank in Delaware, one of online banking’s first innovators (and eventual busts).
