Well, this looks awesome.
The Mill is throwing a charity holiday party Dec. 20, and the whole community is invited.
The In the Spirit Holiday Party, a collaboration between The Mill and INWilmington, will raise funds and collect toys for Wilmington families in need. Last-minute shoppers can snag gifts at The Mill Market from local artists, including:
- Alvina Designs
- The Creative Vision Factory
- Double Spiral Chocolate
- Levitea
- LolahSoul
- Rocker Soaps
- Scentsy
Local brewers Dew Point, Argilla and Stich House (coming soon to Market Street) will be there; a spread will be provided by food sponsors such as WiLDWICH and Newark Natural Foods; and three local bands — Hall & Spadola, Earth Radio and Apache Trails — will play in the lobby of The Mill. The setup will allow some partygoers to mingle while others rock out to the live music.
The cover charge is $10 or a toy donation, which will benefit several Wilmington families identified by Christ Church and the Christina Cultural Arts Center. Ages and genders of the 32 children benefiting (and more) can be found on the event’s Facebook page.
The Mill is located on the 4th floor of the Nemours Building, 1007 Orange St. The party starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.
