The Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore has a new, summarized report of the state’s cybersecurity sector.

  • Maryland has more than 10,000 cybersecurity contractors.
  • The Baltimore-Washington, D.C., region has more than 200,000 “cybersecurity professionals.”
  • Maryland leads the nation with more than 19,000 jobs openings in cybersecurity.

Take a glance at that here, and look back at our July story regarding the effect of the cybersecurity industry on Baltimore city.
