A cybersecurity entry from Maryland has made it to the top 10 of the Wall Street Journal‘s inaugural Startup of the Year competition.
Light Point Security, which makes browsing software that makes Internet users less susceptible to malware attacks, was one of 24 startups initially selected from more than 500 applicants, as Technically Baltimore reported in June.
The cybersecurity startup is based out of the cyber incubator at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
