WHO’S MAKING MOVES?

Evolent Health, the Arlington-based outpatient care platform that went public in early May, has increased its offering price from $100 million to a maximum $184 million.
The Web Development Group, a creative agency headquartered in Old Town Alexandria, has opened a new office in WeWork Chinatown.
Speaking of WeWork, the network of coworking spaces has opened up a new floor in its Dupont Circle location. There will be an opening party next week.
Dulles-based Speek is potentially looking for a buyer, after a deal with Polycom fell through, a result of the departure of former CTO Matthew Turner. Here’s an interesting read from the Washington Business Journal.

WHO’S GETTING FUNDED?

After Arlington-based Rosetta Stone announced it had received an “expression of interest” from RDG Capital Fund Management Friday, the company saw its shares rise 19 percent that same day.
Reston-based VideoBlocks, a stock video company, announced it has raised $8 million in a round led by North Atlantic Capital.
After the recent expansion of Getaround and launch of Split in the District, the car-sharing network Zipcar is growing to new locations in the area, including Benning Road, Branch Avenue and Minnesota Avenue.
Frederick, Md.-based Welocalize, a company that helps brands grow to new, linguistically diverse markets, announced it has received a “significant” investment of an undisclosed amount from Minnesota-based Norwest Equity Partners.
Reston-based WealthMinder, a financial advising platform, has raised $1.45 million, according to the Washington Business Journal.
Regenxbio, a D.C.-based gene therapy company, has raised $70.5 million in equity, according to an SEC filing.
RLJ Entertainment, a video distribution company based in Silver Spring, has raised $22.5 million, according to an SEC filing. This follows a $30 million seed round announced in January — one of the region’s top three VC deals.
LeaseAccelerator, a lease-tracking consultancy based in Great Falls, has raised $4.7 million, according to an SEC filing.

WHO’S GETTING BUZZ?

Navroop Mitter, the CEO of D.C.-based secure messaging company ArmorTextwas profiled in Inc. as one of the four entrepreneurs “changing the messaging industry.”
