Learn how to protect your small business from cyber threats

The Delaware Small Business Development Center and Artemis Global Security are teaming up to help small business owners develop cybersecurity plans.
They’re offering two free events, which are both from 9 a.m. to noon: The first is ongoing at the Delaware Biotechnology Institute in Newark, and if you missed that one today, there is a second session with the same workshops on Wednesday in Dover at the Kent County Administration Building.
Small businesses, said program director Abagail Scout in a release, are targets for hackers because they generally lack the cybersecurity large corporations have in place. She cited the Symantec Internet Security Threat Report, which said 60 percent of all targeted attacks last year struck small and medium-sized businesses.
