Little Red Wagon Technologies, based in Canton, has raised $1.9 million in equity, according to SEC filings. The mobile technology company‘s main product, Pinecone, is a secure data platform that allows users to transmit information between a back-end server and a single application on a mobile device.
SurveySnap, based in Columbia, has raised $15,000 in debt financing, according to SEC filings. A member of the 2013 AccelerateBaltimore cohort, SurveySnap’s software digitizes the layout of a building’s interior from the photos a user takes of the building’s inside. The startup had previously raised $15,000 in equity.
Biotech startup Y Labs, Inc., based in Pikesville, has raised $1,000 in debt, according to SEC filings. Yup, according to what was filed, just $1,000.

who’s making moves?

Gaithersburg-based biotech company MedImmune “announced Monday the acquisition of Amplimmune Inc., the Johns Hopkins University spinout that left Baltimore in 2008 for Montgomery County,” according to the Baltimore Business Journal. MedImmune will pay $225 million, and possibly another $275 million depending on whether Amplimmune reaches “certain development milestones.”
